World First LTE IOT for Device Terminals will be Conducted

The world’s first LTE IOT (Interoperability Test) in Europe in November to verify the interpretability of LTE network infrastructures and device terminals is jointly announced by Huawei and Samsung. The IOT will use LTE modems manufactured by Samsung on Huawei’s LTE trial network in Europe. Huawei is a leader in providing next-generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, while Samsung is a global leader in semiconductor, telecommunication, digital media and digital convergence technologies with 2008 consolidated sales of US$96 billion.
This cooperation has been regarded as a big step in both companies’ development. Mr. Wan Biao, President of Wireless, Huawei, said “The test bridges the most cutting-edge telecom technology with people’s demands of enjoying rich and compelling services anytime, anywhere.
